In chicken news. I have an easier hatch than anticipated coming tomorrow. The hen I was collecting from was only fertile for a week after selling rooster. So all eggs that are going to hatch will be at the same time.

Do you have problems with algae on the boats? My brother seems to. I think he keeps it out due to that.
Speaking of brother there another fire in his area. They seem to get an unusual amount of fires. There was one near by here last night but the smoke seems to have disappeared. And it’s cooler until Saturday.

No the algae isn't too bad. Dock is in shaded spot, not sure if that makes a difference.

Hopefully fire season won't be too bad this year.

Either of you have any experience working on a Dodge Dakota? I'm trying to get the rear bolts out that anchor the driver's seat to the floor, & I'm hitting a brick wall; they're not budging.

How's the toe?

The pain is halfway up my leg. I ordered a real splint off Amazon. Hopefully it will help more than just taping it. I would go to the hospital if it were a finger, but this isn’t worth it.
I must get outside to take care of the birds today. Thankfully I have feeders that last a while, so that I haven’t had to go out the last few days. Eggs need collected, duck pool cleaned, and bantam feeder is probably empty.
