Gotta love it! Better than having the pastures being burnt up in July & August, I guess, but not much.
I guess it saves some hay, usually just let the boys out there, the girls are in milk and want them eating good hay for the milk.

I can’t wear any footwear but the boots. We are expecting rain tomorrow. I’d like to cut grass, but can’t take the vibration. Fortunately, the grass isn’t too long.Oh thanks, I'll live. Now it's dry enough not to need the muck boots.
Of course, rain is expected later today.
I’ve been banned from the laundry room doing something similar.Impact wrench did the trick. I have one that I hadn't used in 20 years or more; never crossed my mind...forgot I even had one 'til a mechanic on a Dodge Dakota forum suggested it (for a fee, naturally).
I may end up buying new seat covers, anyway. I never thought about shrinkage when I put them in the dryer after I washed them.
Thanks.
Gosh you guys with all your rain. Very dry here but it’s supposed to be. Fire at my brothers is just across the lake from him. Decent sized lake but still too closeI can’t wear any footwear but the boots. We are expecting rain tomorrow. I’d like to cut grass, but can’t take the vibration. You have no idea how many times I’ve had the same thought.I wish there was some way to pump the water from the areas that are prone to floods, out to the areas that need the water.
Hi everyone!!!
I agree, all this talk of rain!! We need some down here as well. I really hope your brother is safe. Have they evacuated him yet? I heard about some new evacuations this morning.
No fires around me, thankfully there isn't much left to burn after the Thomas fire. We've had a couple fires that have popped up in Beverly Hills and the surrounding hills - they were put out in hours if not days. I think some of those folks have their own personal fire fighting teams.

He hasn’t been evacuated as far as I know. I really can’t see how there could be anything left to burn there either. They’ve had so many fires in that area. It’s mesquite and pine.
I’ve heard the insurance companies do have their own hot shot crews. Not sure of that.
Vicious cycle for sureWhat's sad is the Chaparral and most Pines need fire to generate new growth. So, after everything burns, and we survive the mud slides, then everything grows back and goes through another cycle.
