You know if you look to your west you might see the largest body of water on the planet. A few desalination plants and CA's water problems are over. Maybe do that rather than the high speed rail.

That is true, and I don't know if the water dropped copters do scoop from the ocean when it's close. We do have a few desalination plants out here, but they are expensive to operate, and are on PRIME real estate. I think there are 2 that might still be operating (Carlsbad and Santa Barbara) down here.

Wow, that looks nice.
It’s actually a design error on the part of the engineering department. Wouldn’t work for what they wanted. After it is built there isn’t any taking back, so cut up and throw away or let someone use them. I’ve scored twice this way. This one was to house an HVAC unit in the attic of a home.
The diagonal webbing will be removed when I’ve got it better supported. The 2-6 in the center and perhaps the 2-4 below that will also be removed. Walk in center with doors and two side coops where the diagonal webs are. 1/2 hardware cloth on the flooring of coops. Feed storage in center with chicken subtraction setup in the center as well. It’s going to take awhile.

You'd think I'm a hoarder if you saw all the small pieces of 1/4" HWC I have; anything that I can conceivably use later. Just made a warm weather pop door a couple weeks ago.
I too have various sized pieces from past jobs. When this job is done there will be about 8 inches by 3 feet wide. Maybe just enough to put a vent in the gable

With 1/2" HWC floors, the droppings under the floor will build up faster than they'll decompose if the building isn't elevated enough to get a steel rake under it, but I bet you already have that covered...I hope

I have either 2 1/2 weeks or 3 1/2 weeks to wait until the ducklings hatch. :pop Whike I’m only guessing when she started sitting on these eggs, I’m also not 100% sure if all of them are Pekin eggs, or some of them are hinnies (Pekin over a Muscovy. Mule is M/P). So some could be a full week longer. It seems I’ll be setting up an incubator when I hear peeping. Fortunately, Pekin are as loud as chicks.
