You guys all be careful out there! If I could send you our rain, I would. We've had almost no summer, just rain and flash floods :/

Interesting how different it is on each Coast. No fun either way.

You too? Man, it's been bad here for us. A huge fire just up the canyon that they can't get under control. Seeing ash fall from the sky and all, evacuations last week, and now, more. It jumped the highway up there, and now is closer. Our kids up north in the state have offered us to come and stay. I'm staying, inside! It wasn't as bad the last couple of days, then this morning, bad bad again. Because of the jump. Have been coughing, my nose is stuffy, throat dry, itchy eyes. The ER's have been busy in Utah. We have big fires in quite a few places this year, but the one near us is the biggest.

Y'all be careful out there. Wish we could send you some of our rain; been the wettest Summer I remember. Some areas of the yard have only been mowed once; too wet to mow w/o sticking the mower & having to pull it out with the truck. Same with the wheeler; stuck it coming up from the bottom. Going to have to cut up trees into 16" pieces & lug them up the hill, rather than pulling the whole trees out with the wheeler or truck...PITA.

Morning Whites. Between your rain and our smoke not much gets done these days. Coop has pretty much come to a stand still. Mask helps but eyes sting. The coop needs pickup work done on frame before I can put the composition roofing on. It’s actually looking like rain out today and last night had the feel of fall.

We were supposed to get dumped on numerous times, but have not. Granted, we had several storms last month, but still not half as much as we were due.
