This season's growouts are getting big. I think I have two males and a female in the PC group---there was another I think was a girl, but she drowned in the duck pool. All my Ameraucana babies are culls, including the only male I have. Now I get to find a new source of that variety. Hurrah. NOT. I already culled the pullets, and the male will go with this fall's butcher group. If he gets big enough fast enough, anyway.

interesting there was a show on about that stuff. I worry about us being in the mnt too. we had a fire up top when I was a kid and all I remember is deer and turkeys in the back yard and even to this day the trees have char on them if you know what to look for

I ended up with no dark Cornish roosters out of 5. Crazy

I didn't actually want any females out of my AMs this year, which of course is why I only got one male. Classic Banty luck, lol.

oh no, sorry about that. I really hated selling my ducks I really liked them and they were so sweet with me, only me but I needed to simplify life and I cant keep so many coops and goat pens clean etc. I rely on help and the help was complaining non stop, so it was needed. not happy though
