Sign said they were fresh from the vine. To prove it, most of the stem was still on them!
Yep and you paid for the stem.

Whites here’s the progress report on coop.

Look like a covered bridge yet. Most siding still needs nailed but it’s 3/4’s up. Still have the right hand side to do yet.

No, we didn't pay for the stems; we didn't buy any. I ain't eatin' nuthin' fertilized with walrus or polar bear poo.

Coop's looking good. All you need is to finish the right side; close in the rest with HWC...plenty of ventilation.

Most of our tomatoes here in the Texas stores come from Mexico. When I’m in Brownsville, I’m always amazed how many trucks there are bringing fresh produce north
I’m guessing quite a bit of ours must be the same. If 80 is shut down over Donner Pass from Reno the shelves become bare here quickly.

I have built part of four different coops this summer. I have noticed the chickens don’t care if they are “finished” or not. They start useing them as soon as they get a roof and roosts. Even found one Rooster living under a upside down wheelbarrow!!! Obviously he couldn’t stand living with his brothers.
