Didn't mean to leave you hanging. Got to talking to the guy who came to clean the chimney. Used to do all that myself, but DW don't like me on the roof anymore, plus, since the heart surgery my balance ain't what it used to be, so standing on the edge of the roof, 20' in the air, wouldn't be very smart.
Yeah, it's still raining; ain't supposed to stop 'til late in the day. That monsoon we had a couple days ago relocated a good part of our lane.

The chimney guy just left, & I finally got the chance to eat some breakfast. Boyond that, staying dry & warm is the order of the day.

It'd be nice if you could still find the old storm windows with the tabs on the top that fit over hooks on the window frame. I guess that double pane windows made them obsolete. I take it your house has single pane windows.
