I was able to candle the duck eggs during the day. It’s day 25, and she has another week. I am pretty sure two are developing. One looked pretty full, and another I think I saw movement.
I’m considering picking up some chicks Wednesday. Anyone think I should take the eggs, and give her chicks? She is known for not having successful hatches.

Holy Chit! No wonder you don't go to town to only one store! That's bloody robbery. Does Canada not have their own refineries? Right now in this area it's $2.36/gal.

You're telling me! I think Ottawa has some for .96/L, which would be 3.74/gal, right?

I get pretty cheap gas most of the time, it's not as bad here as it is in some other provinces.

How long is snow cover a viable possibility over a year's time? Maybe a snow machine with a trailer, assuming they get more kpl than cars. I have no idea if they do; never had one.
