Chickens are doing real well. One White Cornish died yesterday a hen of course she was always smaller than the rest and I wondered if I’d even use her in breeding. After butcher there was fluid around her lungs that’s not normally there. I suspect that as the cause.

My young layers kicked in starting at the end of November so I have eggs. Which is nice because I really learned the hard way that boy do hen slow down when they get past a couple years old my two and three year old hens were not putting out enough for the feed.

You can understand this... I think. I freak out every time I see tractor trailers involved in a huge accident. Especially when there are unidentifiable bodies due to a fire. I spent hours crying myself to sleep last night worrying about my husband (it was too late at night to call. He shuts off his phone overnight).
And yes, I worry about you too.
