giggles she learned this fastyou also need to have certain medicines on hand all the time and be aware of some basic conditions cuz you don't have time to get a vet diagnosis you need to treat.
be careful of too much alfalfa, its high in calcium and can cause hypocalcium during pregnancy, learned that tough, and what started paige on her decline and loosing her! this was the last image of her before she passed away filled with kids, she was in the lowerlevel and I was with her but it was just awful, the other image was late summer last year, she was such a good girl going to have her 2nd fresheningGlad if I can help at all. I have a mentor that I'm constantly asking things.
I also recently found that you can get that lespedeza in pallets and I'm going to get that instead of alfalfa pellets since I have alfalfa hay. I am hoping to take advantage of some of that natural worm preventative.
Oops. It’s been a wild summer, I can’t remember if I’m coming or going.

definitely. I feed a very limited amount of alfalfa unless they're in milk and they're in milk and the kids are on the ground I really push it up. in all but the last month of gestation during the winter time they get a limited amount balance with a grass hay they'd rather not have. too bad though only a certain amount per day. then they can go work on the round bales or eat the grass hay in the feeders.be careful of too much alfalfa, its high in calcium and can cause hypocalcium during pregnancy, learned that tough, and what started paige on her decline and loosing her! this was the last image of her before she passed away filled with kids, she was in the lowerlevel and I was with her but it was just awful, the other image was late summer last year, she was such a good girl going to have her 2nd freshening
