Now I am in need of an Edwards hen.You can tell breeding season is near. That's seem to be the time that you lose birds for no reason.
In N.H.,Tony.

Sorry to hear about your loss. You might try Stan, again, he has Edwards. I loss my Corsican partridge in a storm we had last week. A big oak tree blew over in the high straight line wind we had and crush the pen and my birds.

Sorry to hear of your loss also.It always seems to happen just before breeding season.I talked to a guy that has grouse but I don't recall him having Corsicans, unless they have another name.

Mine were acutally imported from Spain, long before the ban on importing. They look similar to French Red Legged partridge but have very subtle differences in feather color and pattern. You have to handle them to be able to tell them apart. Yeah, it's a great loss because I doubt I'll ever be able to replace those birds.
