I'm not sure about this specific case, but I see plenty of stories that begin "these were labeled pullets in the store but..." (and then half or all the chicks are male.)

I feel bad for all these new owners thinking the best place to pick up chicks is a feed store. If I could pass one piece of information down to people who live in suburbs or new keepers would be to not go through a feed store. The amount of mishaps I've seen on here is unreal

We bought from a farm, they said they were sexed pullets.

1st y'all need to stop getting straight run when you are not allowed to have roos I think it's so sad to y'all's roos that y'all rehome

2nd almost 100% sure 1 is a roo and 2 is a pullet

1st y’all need to stop judging people, especially when you don’t if the chicks were bought straight run or sexed
