Thanks for the explanation. I kept thinking the legs were just dirty and that's why the greenish tint, but now that you point it out, that doesn't really make sense .

You're welcome! I had two cockerels this year I just didn't want to see the saddle feathers on...our eyes play tricks on us sometimes!

Thanks, all! That looks to be a unanimous opinion! The round neck (hackle?) feathers made me so hopeful the other week (our sex-linked one has the most pointed neck feathers so far - that would be a trip ) but just even since posting, I feel like I see longer saddle feathers coming in and tail feathers that are also looking longer and drooping down all of a sudden. Is there any reason to wait a few more weeks before figuring out how to find Sky a new rooster-friendly home?
