EE 8.5 wks Pullet or Roo - Pics

Pics today of my EE that continues to make funny squacking noises as if trying to crow and the only chick out of ten with the pea comb.

None of my chicks are aggressive or showing who is the top of the pecking order.

This EE is far from aggressive and quite friendly, if anything the EE with the plain comb and darker feathers on the body is the one who has always been the one to run around like the sky is falling. I have to chase it down to catch.

What do you all think? I'm hoping for as least one of the ten to be a roo.

I don't know if it is a Roo or not but it sure is one cute chick!

Great looking baby. I have 13 week old EE's and their combs are just turning red and their tail feathers are a little different. I'm thinking maybe it's a roo????? Beautiful bird!!!!

I am thinking pullet, but really and truly do not know for sure. I have a chick in question that is just 7 weeks and I am going through this same thing. I am playing the waiting game too.

I'm hoping yours is a roo because mine looks EXACTLY like yours and I think he's a roo! The little pea comb and all! Mine is around the same age as yours too.

I may be off on this, but I am going for a roo due to the fact that the saddle feathers are starting to flow over the side:/ could be wrong tho
