I let them out in the run today and they constantly kept attacking each other. They are just about a month old this week I do believe. Well I've had them for about a month. The EE was sold as a Pullet and the Bantam as a straight run, I posted about the bantam before and everyone was saying pullet. But I'm beginning to wonder... So any help would be GREAT!

Sorry it's rather hard to get a good picture of them lately!

That comb is pretty red for a four week EE! The LB doesn't look a lot like a cockeral, but you never know! At four weeks behavior is often more telling than appearance.

Are they fluffing out their neck feathers when they go at it? In my (limited) experience, it's been only the cockerals that do that. The pullets will size one another up and jump a bit, but not so much as the boys!

The EE is a cockerel.

Both males and females will raise their hackles and slenderize their bodies when preparing for combat. Both males and females will fight to get a place in the pecking order. Males will fight females and females will fight males when trying to place themselves higher in the pecking order.

AW MAN! Are you serious? This sucks! The feed store sold the EE as a pullet! Darn them. I wonder if I can get a free one out of them....
And if it is a roo then at what age will it start crowing?

Crowing ages can vary, but I'd expect him to start at 4 months of age. Sorry to hear of that, but honestly I think he's fascinating - Never seen an EE roo of that color.

my dark brahma roos had bald "shoulders" at 4 weeks. Noticeably bald where as the girls were more feathered. FWIW.
