EE/Araucana/Ameraucana question..

Ok, before you go running screaming into the night over another EE question, just hear me out. Does the gene for blue green eggs come from the roo or the hen? If you take an EE/Ara/Amer roo and breed him with white or brown egg layers, will the chicks carry a gene for green/blue eggs? Will they display that gene? Same with the other way, if you take a Roo of the white or brown egg breed and breed it with an EE/Ara/Amer hen will the resulting offspring produce green/blue eggs? I guess Im curious if the green egg gene is produced by the roo or the hen. Any ideas?

Egg color is determined by both parents.

You get green eggs when you cross a blue egg layer with a brown. Takes both the male and female carrying the blue egg gene to make true blue eggs.
