EE beards and muffs question

Does the size of the EE's beard and muffs as a day old chick correspond to her beard and muff feathering when she's full grown? I mean if I want a hen with a fluffy beard, will choosing a chick with a fluffy beard help?

Yes they either have them or don't. I had an EE that didn't have any muffs unlike the others and I wondered if she will grow any. She never did but she laid the bluest egg out of the others.

Yes, the size of the muff and beard corresponds to the older bird. Moreso the muffs though. . . My EE hen has a HUGE beard, but not much muffs:
