I have 5 EE chicks about 10 weeks old and I'm pretty sure on the gender of most of them but I thought I would run it past the experts here. This way I know how many more pullets I have room for.

I'm pretty sure this is a pullet, We can call her #1

And I think this one's a pullet, too (#2)

I'm leaning toward pullet on this one but not 100% sure. The saddle feathers have me wondering roo... (#3) (2 pictures)

Pretty sure this is a roo (#4) (2 pictures)

And I think this one is a roo, too but would be happy to be wrong (#5) (2 pictures)

Thanks for your thoughts!

Here are my guesses:

#1 pullet
#2 pullet
#3 pullet
#4 rooster
#5 rooster

So basically, the first 3 look like pullets, and last 2 look like roosters.

Pretty chickens, btw! Love their coloring!

I am definitely no expert... but #3, #4, and #5 all look like roos to me. I would gladly take any of those roos! or all!

Thanks to all for your thoughts (and compliments to the birds, I mentioned it to them and they were quite pleased!

Those who were thinking roo for number 3, was it the saddle feathers or something else that make you think that? It's comb is not reddening up like the other two roos so that's why I was thinking (hoping) pullet. I might just be leaning toward pullet b/c it has a single comb and I'm used to seeing roos (the two I have/had) with a pea comb.

If anyone is nearby at least one of the roos will be looking for a new home (or freezer) come June. Let me know!

Beautiful Easter Eggers - I believe they're all pullets but the last two, although the 3rd one is iffy. That color is known to lean both to male and female, and even though the body says pullet, the head says cockerel.
