I have two EE chicks, supposedly same age. One is larger then the other, but I am pretty sure both are pullets. Same comb, size and color. The only difference is the leg color. Do EE come with more then one leg color? One of my chicks, the 'older' one I think, has just gotten the green leg/feet color after about a week. The other one still has flesh colored legs. Do they change with time? The one with green legs, Munk, is SO friendly! She jumps on my arm and shoulder, and just watched the world. They are 2 weeks old this Wednesday. What are your EE leg colors? Thanks

P.S. I am pretty sure Binny is a cock-a-doodle-doo'er. Not positive, but his/her comb is much more prominant then the other BR. Anybody in the Sacramento area want a Barred Rock roo? I would prefer to just give him/her to somebody instead of selling. If this is not appropriate to add to my posting please let me know and I will edit. BR Rooster/Or pullet, not sure yet, for free adoption in Sacramento area. He/she is 2 weeks old this Wednesday, and I am able to wait a while longer if you would like to know for sure male/female. Either way I can only have 3 chickens, so whether Binny is male or female is no matter to me. I got 4 chicks in case one died or was a roo. Pictures are available

When did the green legs show up? Mine were both flesh colored when I first brought them home, then gradually after this last week, one of them REALLY changed to green.

Last week I got what I thought was going to be a white rock to replace a barred rock chick that had just died. The guy at the feed mill thought it may be a white leghorn, but the chicks were labelled white rock and Easter eggers. Either would be fine with me but now I notice the little one has green legs. Like a martian green. I'm pretty excited but just hope she's a she. "Her" legs were more tannish when we first got her. Can't see the legs in this picture, but here "she" is:

Can't believe how calm and friendly she is. My little barred rocks are friendly, too, but this one is much calmer. I'm guessing she's around 1 1/2 weeks old. Hope your chicks end up being just what you were hoping for!

and my little roo's legs were spring green at one day old
maybe legg color varies from chick to chick and from sexes

Yeah that is just like Munk's legs! They are sooo different and cool, I love it. I will get some two week old pictures this wednesday to post

they are all thriving! I have one EE who is super friendly, and one BR. The other BR and other EE are a bit shyer.
