I brought 8 EE chicks home from the feed store Thursday. I was told they were 2 days old
and they looked very healthy. I choose them myself and watched carefully before choosing the ones to come home with me.
My broody hen readily accepted them as always. I noticed Friday that the chick stood by itself a lot and today, when she took them out for a short free range, that it held its wings away from its body and easily tripped over obstacles the other chicks had no problem with. Also, it doesn't seem like a voracious eater, although it did eat three meal worms.
Anything I can do to help this little one?
