I’m not sure why, but after a week and a half of owning them, one of my ee chicks has a mild case of scissor beak. She seems to be eating and drinking fine and this is a very recent development. Is there a way to correct it this young or just manage it?

Scissor beak varies in severity, and though it’s always there, it may not be visible until the beak begins to grow. It seems to be most common with EEs in my opinion. Just watch her snd make sure she can eat and drink on her own. It should be fine.

She’s no smaller than any of the others. Her development seems on point with the others for now. From what I’ve read, EEs do tend to have this issue more often than other breeds. Weird.
