We had great success with hatching some EE chicks, but this one ended up with scissor beak. It's gotten worse over the last few days.
It was my daughter's favorite of the bunch (which hatched on her 8th birthday), but I've been letting her know it's probably going to have to be put down.
Everything I've read says it's pretty much always going to be an issue for the chick to get enough food and water. We live in northern Wisconsin, so winters here can be harsh.
Is it time to cull?
