Our hen (Churkey), recently hatched 3 EE chicks from bugladyleah...
This past weekend, they had their first experience out of the brooder to free range while I built them a transitional coop until they are old enough to use the main coop.
Here is Momma standing guard as chicks get some tasty bugs under a bush:
Here are all three pecking in the gravel:
Here is Momma and babies runnig to the garage when they noticed that I started throwing out fresh corn kernels:
Here is my entire flock eating the fresh corn grown from our garden:
Of course, and as I posted on another thread, I did finish the coop. Here it is sitting beside our "Churkey Loft", that I built this past winter.
