after looking at your pic I just realized what breed a chicken I bought last friday is: I paid .25 cents per bird on an auction of a trio of white/spotted chickens (a young roo and two hens) because of the one hen with a "thick neck" and weird sideburns...she's an easter egger! I am so excited now! Wonder why nobody bid against me? I have since re-homed the other hen (she was a mean booger) and the rooster, but kept the "strange hen" because I knew I had seen it before but couldn't place the breeding...you have a beautiful girl there! Mine is slightly larger and white with cream mottling... thanks for the pic-without it I may never have known what kind of chicken I have as well! How is their temperament?
