In the photos with just my Easter Egger they are a day or two shy of being 8 weeks. In the group shot they are the back left and about 7.5 weeks. A week ago I noticed they had 3 rows of peas and then learned that often indicates a rooster. I’ve been keeping an eye on the comb to see how it progresses and would appreciate thoughts on weather Cream Puff here is going to crow or lay eggs… and by extension whether we consider another batch of chicks this season since we were so excited for the EE colored eggs. 😄

While outside watching the chicks foraging the yard just now I got to hear Cream Puff go on a teenage crowing spree. All signs continue to point to cockerel.
