EE hen or roo?

Hi, I bought this EE as a pullet and have thought as much until this morning. Now, I am new to having laying hens/roosters so don't know their different noises they make and what they mean. Any way, she was really loud this morning and it almost sounded like a crow. Do hens do that? Lol Any way here she is

Thats a hen, typical female coloring and no sickle feathers.

x3 some hens will crow if theres no rooster

Ok good, because she full out CROWED this morning!! Lol She is the top bird in our flock. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Crow or no, I'm positive that she's still a She.

I totally believed you the first time. Just was not aware that hens also crowed. I think its neat.

I don't know if "neat" is what I'd call it

I've got enough crowing roos, let alone crowing hens!
