EE Laying Question

I have two EE's that are 28 weeks old and we haven't gotten a single egg yet. Are EE's late layers? They do live with two over barring BR's and I have to wonder if they might be feeling stressed or are they just late to the party? One has a very light comb and the other has a much darker comb but nothing.

Any ideas?

I know it seems like it's taking forever, but my EE's were some of the last to lay from their batch. What seems to make it longer is waiting to see what color they lay!

You are so right! I just want to see that colored egg.

I guess I was also wondering because my silkie that is a week younger has started to squat. Silkies I thought were supposed to be the last and now my EE's are going to be beaten to the egg party by a silkie. LOL
