I have a 25 week old EE, she is a big bird, bigger than my RIR's.
she had her first egg about 3 weeks ago and she lays 1 egg a week and they all have blood on them. The blood is smeared like it was on the egg before it was "ejected" There is an abrupt end of the smeared blood, like where she gave the final "push"
I would say about 2/3 of the egg has the smeared blood on it.
All the others I got with her are laying fine.
Is there anything I can give her to help "grease the way" as it were?
Thanks,
Ace
