EE losing feathers and is still laying?

She needs to be separated completely with no access to any other chickens. ASAP! I've seen worse holes on here healing, but one more day in with other chickens could be fatal.

I agree about separating her.

If you can keep that wound really clean, maybe it will heal.

Any idea what caused it? Is there something sharp she might be rubbing against?

I'm so sorry this is happening. Sounds like you're doing good wound care, for what it's worth. I definitely would keep using the saline irrigation and don't mess with any ointments for that kind of wound.
