Thought only one of my newly laying EE's was laying. Found out yesterday she must have been laying eggs in the yard while free ranging for the past three days. Snoopy, our beagle, was playing with something green. Sure enough, an egg. I took it from him (only two tiny tooth marks on it). Later I looked out the window and there he was with another. (You'd think by now I'd make a tour of the yard...nope). Took that one from the dog. A little later, there he was with a third. Arrrrgh. This morning, no one leaves the pen until I have two green eggs.
