As a general rule of thumb.....

Between what ages can you tell the difference between a pullet and a roo?

My first set of chicks are nearing the 6 week old mark and one ( black sex link ) has a reddening comb and wattles while the red sex link has a faint pinkish comb. The Black sex links name is Princess too so that would be a very funny name for a roo and it's DDs name choice as it's her chick.

Would a roo comb have reddened faster than 6 weeks?
