EE pullet comb??

I have a 10 week old EE pullet, I am positive it is a girl, but I am curious. I noticed her comb now has a pinkish color to it. Just started when she was about 9 weeks old. My obvious EE cockerel's comb was pink at 3 weeks. Do EE pullets get pink to their comb eventually as well? Thanks

I don't have pure EEs, but their combs are much larger and pink and they are laying. I'm pretty sure everyone's combs gets pink/red in the end, just roos a lot faster than hens. Well, at any rate, our 4 girls all have red combs of varying sizes and they got pink...between 2 and 4 months old I think.

I have 4 pure EE's. 2 - 4years old, 2 -1 year olds.... your's look total normal....she should get a little redder along the way

I just noticed the pink today and was surprised. She is my first EE. My Barred Rock is getting a red comb now as well, she is 10 weeks old too, but I've had BR before and know the hens get red combs as well as roos. Thanks again for the info

How can you have a pure EE? By definition it is a mix.

I'm no expert but it looks like a pullet to me. Pretty bird!

She looks exactly like my favorite EE pullet named golden fleece. A very pretty girl you got there.
