EE pullet or cockerel?

Just curious what you guys think. 6-7 weeks old. I was leaning towards cockerel

hard to say. i'd say cockerel, but you will have to see what others would have to say. unsure of the breed, as well. beautiful birds!

Looks like it may be a cockerel, but it could just be a flushed pullet as well. Is the comb always that colored?

Actually looks a bit dull in the photo. It’s usually a little brighter red. Maybe because I was chasing it around trying to get a decent picture.

Great. That’s really what I was hoping for when I got unsexed chicks. My rooster recently lost a battle with a huge raccoon while trying to defend his hens. He looked exactly like your avatar and was the friendliest rooster ever. RIP bill the rooster...

Awww, so sorry about your rooster! A good one like that is so important. I hope your new one is just as good. He is very handsome!

Really hope so too. The first rooster we got kept chasing my daughter around and trying to fight me. So one night he went to “the farm”. Was so happy when bill turned out to be such a gentleman, and so friendly with people.
