EE Pullet.... right?

*sigh*
I am considering keeping him. My run is over 300sqft and "L" shaped, so I might could seperate the short leg of the "L" and let Marge (I am in denial) and the other EEs have it and the shed half of the "coop". That way Marge (I know, I know) won't be lonely but won't be TOO busy in my henhouse.

It isn't really so much a matter of wanting to breed my other chickens pure.... I just don't want fertilized eggs. I had a really really bad experience as a kid (at the hands of a cruel brother) and just can't stomach the thought of eating one. (Instead of getting eggs from the laying hens, he got them from the coop that had a broody... with well formed chicks in the eggs. So when I cracked it over the frying pan,......

Now I am looking suspiciously at all of my chickens. The Barred Rocks, Brahmas and Golden Comets I have absolutely no doubt they are pullets. I feel extremely confident about my RIRs, my EE Faye.... thinking "Stink" has a big plumey tail and stretchy neck like "Marge / Martin" and that makes me sad - I will try to get pics when it isn't raining.
My Buff Orps are pullets. They just are. And I feel pretty sure the Giants are.
Ugh

I gotta go take 15 pics to be sure

I still haven't managed to get pics... but now I am getting worried that my Stink chicken is acting very manly. She is the first to come charging out of the house when I call, she jumps on my arm for treats, she doesn't back down from anyone (doesn't fight, but doesn't back down).... and... gulp... she has a long tail feather coming over the top. I think it is a mutation.

Marge on the other hand is now leaving no doubt that s/he needs a name change. *sigh*

Still no pics of Stink..... but "Marge" has removed all doubt.... so I have to choose Martin? Marvin? Mr. Marge?
