I have an Easter Egger Pullet that finally started laying sporadically about 3 weeks ago. It started with thin or membrane only eggs, and then we had a great week with five eggs in seven days, but now she hasn't layed again for the last 7 days. She seems healthy, and has free choice calcium and feed. Her barred rock and RIR coop-mates are laying every day. Is this just her still getting started up or should I be concerned?

Thanks.

I would say she's still adjusting to the whole laying eggs thing.
EE's don't usually lay every day like your RIR's or BR's but they can be pretty consistent every other day layers once they get going.
What color eggs are you getting?

Thanks. Good to hear. I'll just keep an eye on her. When she does lay, we're getting sage green eggs, sometimes a little darker, sometimes a little lighter.
