Okay! I think I finally figured out how to post pics. I have suspected for a long time that one of my EEs (supposed to all be hens) is a roo. They are all about 5 1/2 months now. The two darker ones are laying for about 2 -3 weeks now. The one I suspect to be a roo is the light colored one. Its crest started coming in before the others and is now a little bigger and more frilly. He/she is also bigger than the other two and heavier in the legs. It has not layed yet. The tail looks different but can't tell if that may just be from molting or losing feathers. It does act more like a rooster, I had tried putting another adult roo in there one time and the one in question chased him, but did not fight. Any comments?

The two in the bottom picture are laying. It is the one above , the lighter colored one that I have a question about. Thanks for the response.

Our (probably) EE roo at 4 months has quite a prominent comb and wattles and has been crowing for about 3 weeks. He herds the girls around and tries to run interception with the other slightly younger roos.

I'm a newbie, but I don't see a roo in your pics. Our 9 one day olds were all supposed to be pullets. We are down to 4 now. Lots of chicken dinner coming up

Got them from McMurrays, along with some Crested Polish. Had some issues but for the most part and happy with the order.
