EE Rooster needs a home (SC)

GOOD GRAVY! I just looked it up! That would be quite a trip. I was really hoping it was closer. That would be quite a distance even if we met half way wouldn't it?

I looked you up on mapquest. You are southern SC, and it would appear, not very far from the Savannah, GA area. How far are you willing to travel? I think I am too far out of the way for a reasonable drive. I am about 5-6 hours away from Savannah.
But if not for that, I would love to have him.

It would, but I am heading to NC next month I think.

Do you think I could keep him quiet for another month?? He's only crowed once, but he is "coming of age"....

"What was I thinking" has one, and he/she is in NY. Would that be too far away for you?

You must be in an area that doesn't allow roosters...

As far as keeping him quiet...it really depends on the roo, some are more boisterous than others when they first start out. I know one of mine never made a sound for weeks after his first crow...I thought something was wrong with him. BUt he turned out to be quite the loud mouth, lol.
Where in NC are you heading?

EllyMae _ we'll head across SC and up to basically Mt. Mitchell. Am also making a trip to Raleigh soon.

Mt Mitchell is in the Black Mountain/Asheville area. Very familiar with that area.
