EE rooster?

I'd thought about Legbar, with his pretty barring. But, Legbars are crested and the crest is partially dominant, and I don't see any signs of a crest on this boy. Legbars also have white earlobes. I'm not clear on the genetics of earlobe color, but the crosses I've seen have partially white earlobes.

He's a beautiful boy. The OP could put him over white egg layers and see what color the offspring pullets lay.

It's one of those features that make one realize what a labor of love the CCL really was. The originator (forget his name right off) didn't have to make them so pretty, with the barring and the crests, but he went ahead and bred those in. Couldn't have been easy, but apparently was important to him

Can it still be an EE if mixed with a Legbar? Legbars lay blue eggs and have single combs.

If you cross your rooster with a Legbar hen, the offspring would definitely be EE.
