EE-What heritage?

He is standard size. I hope that was what you were asking. B/c I don't want to go out in the middle of the night in a thunder storm to weigh and measure!

He was sold to me as an Ameraucana, but of course he is not a true one.

Here is two bad pic of the two pullets he was sold to me with, supposedly of the same stock. They are a bit camera shy so it is hard to get a good shot.

I have a hen just like your darker brown one, but they aren't true Ameraucana's just normal EE's

Must just be that comb throwing me off. Pea is usually dominant over straight...right? Hmmm.. I'm sure there are always exceptions

Well he is beautiful and a good roo. I will hate it when he starts crowing and I have to give him up. My immediate neighbors (with one exception) love my chickens, but a roo might be a different story.

Oh he is defiantly a beauty! Hope you get to keep him

I would like to keep him. He is the only friendly roo I have ever had. Of course he is real young still. It doesn't really matter what he is. I am just curious. He seems so familiar. Oh the things that worry an insomniac.

I am such a proud momma, Sandy crowed three times this morning. He was so cute. He looked surprised that it came out of his mouth. Now I have to start damage control with the neighbors.

Here is an updated pic of Sandy.

You can see he is developing nicely. One of my neighbors came over this morning b/c she thought something was killing him (he was practicing crowing).
