EE with single comb

Sorry,

I don't kill it unless I can eat it. I am still researching a good recipe. Will let you know how it turns out. LOL!!

Actually It is a little lab pup that hadn't ment to kill it. She was caught it and was carrying it around and it died of fright before I could get to it. One of my older labs caught a low flying duck in mid air. It brought it right to me, to be congratulated, sadly the duck didn't know it wasn't hurt and died in my arms. Neither bird had a mark on them. Labs have the softest mouths but it isn't much good when you don't want them practicing on your ducks and chickens. Since we don't duck hunt and never have, it has been very inconvenient when the chickens escape their pens when the dogs are out playing.

Once had a mastiff that would carry my kittens around in its mouth. They never minded much.

Any hooo. I can't wait to see the egg color on my pullets when they start laying.

i have a easter egger pullet. it has a single comb, i bought it from meyer hatchery as easter egger, so i dont know if it's rare or something?

i actually just checked on it about 5 minutes ago and it looks more like a pea comb because theyre 10 weeks old and the pullets with single combs (lavender orpingtons) are much bigger. Is that an ameracauna or EE?
