EEs? Ameraucanas?

How do I tell which is which? I acquired these 3 ladies today. No idea what breed they are. But I’d guess EE or ameraucana? Is there a way to tell before eggs come? 1 is different, she doesn’t have the muffs but colored just like one of the muffed girls.

I would say the white hen and non-bearded hens are likely easter eggers, but your third pictured one could either be a silver ameraucana or an easter egger of the same color.
Your white hen looks to not have a pure peacomb, it looks to have points like a straight comb, but is very floppy.

The middle hen pictured is not any recognized ameraucana color, nor is she bearded. In some lines, non-bearded ameraucanas might pop up, but her coloring is incorrect for even a silver ameraucana, so she's most likely a cross.

As for the last, she's bearded and has a peacomb. Whether or not it is pure peacomb I cannot tell. Her coloring looks very similar to silver ameraucana coloration, and she has slate legs so I would imagine that is what she is.

They’re all Easter Eggers. Ameraucanas are way more expensive and only come in certain colors and they also wouldn’t be sold without saying what they are sooo… definitely not that. Especially if you didn’t pay more or buy them as Ams.

These chickens were found as “strays”. So no idea how far or who they came from. They were on a hold and then I acquired them. So none of us know their actual history.

Ohhhhhh okay! I guess it’s possible they’re Ams then but I think Easter Eggers are much more likely

EEs often have green legs, and Ameraucanas, never.
