After all the TLC I have given my EE's since their birthday May 01, 09, They started laying 9/11/09, with the rest of our flock of 7 Buff O's 5 RIR and 3-Barred Rox, How delicious the 8-9 eggs are every morning, lots of huge eggs, and plenty of double yolks..But WHY would the EE's both lay WHITE Eggs???
If I drank beer, I would cry in it....

Yeah, isn't it a bummer!?! I bought two "Americaunas", expecting wonderful light blue, possibly green eggs from all three. I have two laying cream colored eggs, and finally one who is laying a greenish colored egg. So much for Americaunas...wish I know then what I know now. I would have searched for a breeder in the area. Now my coop is too full to add any additional birds. Oh well...they still taste great:)

I ran into the same thing. I have 5 ee's with only 2 laying blue/green eggs. The other's are a pinkish brown to cream colored. Very disappointing.
