How about another question...

By definition, EE's would have tinted eggs, however considering they are mixed breeds, would this always be the case?

It is my understanding that EEs can lay just about any color egg, including plain old creamy beige. I've heard of them laying every egg color under the sun except maybe pure white or chocolate brown.

Some of our Americauna/EE's have dark blue, some have slate gray, some have bright orange, and one or two have bright yellow legs.

As for eggs, I was also wondering...I'm excited because our 18 pullets should start laying anytime.
