We picked these two Easter Egger's up when they were just a week old and took our chances on if they were male or female. Although we are guessing which might be male or female, we really are not sure how to tell. They are both 9 weeks old. Thanks!

This is Camilla... maybe Cameron.

And this is Zazzles...

I have hens that look like those, but check for sickle feathers and hackle feathers on them.

More suspicious of the top one, but those feathers look nice ad round so far.

The second one I say is definately a hen. Nice round feathers and none of the shiney bright colored feathers a EE roo will have. Which is why I too am suspicious of the 1st one, the red feathers on the top of the wings make me think maybe, but the rest of feathers are all nice and round like a hen would be. Really watch for shiney pointed along top of wings and right infront of tail.

both are roosters...no doubt...big getting red comb...big body...long tail...red patches of wings...100% roosters

I was really leaning towards the first one being a rooster, but I was holding out hope for the second one. Is it possible for hens to still have a small amount of red in their feathers at all?
