EEW, gross!

3 of my chickens excitedly ran over to see something in the grass....I walked over too, and noticed one of the chickens is spitting up stuff. GROSS! I gave them a piece of apple earlier. I just put them all back in their coop together. I guess I'll just watch and make sure she doesn't throw up again.

Reassure me, please? LOL. I've only ever had a chicken throw up once before, and it was after I'd been having to chase her after she drank water....which is understandable.

LOL, she'll be fine. They do that every now and then when they gulp too much at one time.

Thanks, I guess that makes sense! They go absolutely CRAZY for fruit and veggie treats......they grab a piece and RUN, then try to gulp it down as they run. Silly chickens!
