Thank you all for the great advice! I feel better armed to go purchase a treatment.
After doing a google image search on round, hook & tape worm, I'm not certain any of them looked like what was poking out of her butt....I never see her stool, because she leaves that wherever she is prowling, and she refuses to use the litter boxes in the house.I'm probably just seeing only a portion of the worm, or a different stage of developement that isn't pictured online. The indoor cats don't have any worms in their stool, but they'll get treated as a precaution. I like the idea of the Food Grade D.E.. If it doesn't work on the worms, it will work in the chicken pen and the garden!
