eFowl.com- bad experience

I was going to sell them and use the profits as compensation for them using my picture!!!! Guess not, NOBODY wants to buy them! So now I get NO compensation and my feed bill is HUGE! Guess they'll have to go on my dinner table. UGH. Bad Business!!

Just a suggestion..maybe you can list them on this site? Maybe someone here would want them.

Will you ship one or two to East Tennessee? I would take one or two. Also... try craigslist. There are tons of people (at least here) who would take ducks just to have some on the water.

Too bad you aren't closer. I know a guy who takes in all ducks. He doesn't care about SQ or breeds... he just has 4 ponds and likes waterfowl. lol.

I would try to even giving them away... better to not make money on a sale and get them off your hands, then to keep birds you didn't want and don't want to afford. Ya know?

I ship anywhere in the lower 48. The longer I wait the more expensive & hassle the shipping will be though. The only boxes I have are chick boxes, and after 2 weeks old they won't fit in them. They are going on 3 weeks.

I'll take $5 each if anyone wants them. They do have crests ya know.

how much will your shipping be and can you sex them? Sorry to be a bother, but I already have 6 ducks and want a male if I could have a choice... if not I can take my chances.

Last week I could have shipped 2-3 for $32-$35. Now I don't know. I'd have to buy bigger boxes & weigh them in the box. They are ALL males. That is why I am so mad. I will have to spend $50 for 5 new Horizon adult boxes, and probably not sell any. It would make me so happy if anybody really wanted them.

I do not suggest ordering from efowl. We ordered ducks and chickens from them and after three shipments and 2 months, we still don't have all of our birds. They also send a lot of warmer chicks (which are most likely all roosters). All of the warmer chicks they sent in the third shipment now have Mareks disease and can't walk. They just sleep all day and will probably die. Also in that shipment, 2 birds were DOA and 2 more died within hours of arrival. Obviously these people have no regard for the health and well being of their birds.

Luckily, our flock has been vaccinated so we should be ok, and I also called efowl and got my money back. That doesn't make up for all the time I've spent hand feeding these sick chicks or the fact that I have to watch them die.

It is always a good idea to read as many reviews as possible and talk to anybody who has experienced a particular breeder or hatchery - it can save a lot of hassle in the future.

Sorry you two ran into so much trouble!
