Yes on the minimum orders. The extra fee associated with small orders is insane. The best thing to do, which is what I do, is add the bird you want to your basket at the number of birds you want. If you order 5, the total will probably be over 100 bucks. But then change it to 15 and hit recalculate. It'll probably drop down to around 60 or 70 bucks. I just keep playing around with numbers until I get a total I can live with. That usually means the added fee has gone away. What I don't know is if you can mix small numbers of chicks you want and still get rid of that small order charge.

Anyhow, my personal experience with them is my order of Cayuga duck eggs. I ordered 20 (again, to avoid the small order fee of $99) 18 arrived unscathed. 2 were cracked. After a few days, we candled and had 4 duds. As time wen by a few more did not develop. I am down to 12 that are still going strong and should hatch late next week. For the 2 that arrived cracked, I emailed them to let them know. I was given the choice of refund or credit. I took credit as I knew I would be ordering again. And I have. I should be getting 15 light Brahma chicks Thursday or Friday. We'll see how they look when they get here. If they all arrive ok, or I get the same customer service as before for any mishaps, then I will continue to be their happy customer.

Ordered 30 bantams early last month. First delivery date was delayed three days but not really an issue. The chicks sent out Monday from Missouri to Utah. I was concerned because the temperature was in the teens. Arrived early Wednesday at the post office. Only one did not make it and there were extras. It's been a few days all chicks in excellent health. They were in better condition out of the box than the ones I purchase locally. When I bought the chicks I used the online chat and my questions were answered quickly and got a coupon. Overall good experience and competitive pricing. Will plan on doing more business with efoul in the future.

The Brahmas did arrive safely. I ordered 15 and got 16, all alive. Very healthy overall but we did lose one several days after getting them. It had some type of seepage coming from behind it's eye. Then a couple days later it seized and died quickly. The rest are now feathering and about ready to be put outside.

We had the absolute best experience with efowl.com. Each and every time I wrote to them, I got a super quick response within an hour. Every single chick we ordered got to us and we have not lost one of them so far. We ordered 10 Delaware's, 5 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 5 Easter Eggers, and 5 Barred Plymouth Rocks. We received 27 chicks in all. A couple of weeks later and they are all doing great. We are so pleased and will definitely order from them again.

I ordered from Efowl and got wonderful results. All came live and healthy, chickens and geese. All survived with no problems. chickens were about equal hens and roosters though I didn't specify any sex when ordering. Beautiful birds though. Geese came in pairs as specified.
