Egg Advice - Red firm yolk no white - why ?

It's an old egg. I've seen this happen before with eggs I failed to find and sat under the hay for a while. The white of the egg evaporates and leaves the yolk. It gets a bit hard and when you crack it looks like this.

Likely it got picked up or found after a few weeks and someone thought it was new.

I just thought an old egg would be more disgusting than that? But, I have a small flock and most eggs are gathered the day they are laid. 🤷‍♀️
