Egg binding mystery

I have two year old hens. This morning one was showing symptoms of egg binding. We put her in warm water for 20 minutes two times. Decided to check vent and wife inserted finger with vegetable oil. When she did the hen blew out liquid poop and died immediately. Can anyone tell me why this would happen? Thank you.

Hmm odd. I really have no clue, never heard of that happening.

Thank you I never saw that happen before I mean she died instantly in less then one second
